I'm having trouble with my Enttec USB Pro unit on my Mac.
Chamsys finds it to output DMX but Capture can not see it.
I've reinstalled the drivers but still Capture cannot see it.
Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. I have a snow leopard MacBook pro with the basic version of capture polar. I can use the enttec device to out put dmx, I can get the console to output dmx, and when I connect the console to the dmx USB pro Input I know there is a signal because of the flashing led. But capture doesn't see it.

why not ChamSys and Capture connecting via network ? It gives you much more posibilities.

Hi,
It almost sounds like you're trying to use two softwares at the same time with the box. We may be having issues with the EntTec box and Snow Leopart, we will be looking into it within short. Either way, as Luc says, why not use ArtNet or CITP instead?

The consoles I'm dealing with at present are not ArtNet enabled.
I only used the Chamsys software to establish that the Mac was taking to the Enttec Pro and that the Enttec Pro was itself fully functional.
I do have a message pop up when Capture loads to say it has multiple network addresses and please select one.
Would this cause the Dongle to be ignored?

Hi,
We have verified proper EntTec DMX USB Pro operation with the latest version of Capture and the Mac OS X Leopard / Snow Leopard. However we have also seen cases of boxes stopping to work and having to rewrite their firmware from the Windows application in order to be able to use them again.
If you are having issues, please send me the Capture log file after an attempt so I can take a look at it. It's located under your user account's Library / Logs folder.
