Hi all,
I'm a newbie to all this... I'm using Lightfactory on my laptop, and also running Capture on the same laptop. To make Capture see Lightfactory I've been told I need to create a "virtual network" using a loopback connector. I've got my loopback connector but am now puzzled what I need to to with it to make Capture see Lightfactory....?
Many thanks, I'm a novice at networks!

Hi Mark,
It is actually the other way around - you need to make LightFactory see Capture! Once you have installed the Loopback adapter, this should be easy. In fact, you should only need to start the two softwares. When they do, you should also see LightFactory's universes popping up in the "Universes" tab in the Project window inside Capture.

I am having the same issue as Mark. I have installed the loopback adapter and started both LightFactory and Capture Polar. However, when I start a new project, none of my fixtures show up in the Universes tab.
Is there something I must do to setup Capture initially? Or, do you have any other ideas as to what could be causing the problem?

Hi Ryan,
I managed to get it working. I had to go through the network connections settings on my laptop and create a network, selecting "Microsoft Loopback Adapter" as the network connection device.
Hope that helps!
