Hey Jonny,

You also can use the (no) symbol from the library, it's purpose is to hide fixture, which you don't want to show, the big advantage is that you can still se notes, patch etc. in the plot, it just hides the symbol.

you can downlod my sample to see how it works:

all the best Marco

Hi Marco,

This is very useful. Thanks for sharing the file. I like how you've loaded all of your custom par beam gobos into into the rotator. I found this makes it easy to swing through every frame to visually determine the lamp type needed for your show.

I see the advantages of choosing the (no) symbol. This significantly reduces the amount of clutter in the plot, and retains patch info. Cheers! For now I'm only using the gobo and rotator trick to just visualize, but is still useful to know when the time comes.

Here's a sample of your WFL gobo you've posted earlier loaded into the DS wash. The US wash is not loaded. I'm pleased with the results! The fixtures are Altman Par64s with Q10000 PAR64/WFL 45x72 lamps. There are 5 cans per electric ( L, 1/4, C, 1/4, R) Please note maximum rendering has not been checked when saving this image.

Regards,

Johnny
