Hey all! Long time Capture user who is trying out a different control option for the first time.

I'm using Titan Mobile for the first time one a Windows 10 Laptop to control Capture on a desktop Windows 7 machine on the same network. I have no problem getting the titan emulator to work on the same machine that Capture is running on ... but when I try to run on the Windows 10 machine.. no luck. The Universe shows up on Capture and I can even change the name of the output on Titan Mobile on the Windows 10 machine and have it change on the desktop. I also can see the Console Patch. Unfortunately, I don't have any control over the fixtures. (I should also add that i'm using the exact same show file on the Windows 10 machine as I am able to successfully use on the emulator on the Windows 7 machine)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Well if the only difference is win7 and win10 then it does sound like you have a wrong network configuration in win10. Could you verify this first please?

    Hi Vangelis!

I will do some double checking.. but what was really perplexing me is that Capture has no problem seeing the fixture patch from the console on the Windows 10 machine and seeing the available sACN stream from that as well. If it was a network configuration problem.. my guess would be that those wouldn't show up? I'll double check though!

Would there be any issue doing this wirelessly as opposed to hard-wired?

    Thanks

    Hello! Confirming Network Configuration.

    Router: 192.168.1.1
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Windows 10 Machine (Running Titan Mobile 1) via Wireless Connection
IP Address: 192.168.1.61 (Obtained via DHCP)
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    IPV4 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Windows 7 Machine (Running Capture) Connected to switch port on Wireless Router
IP Address: 192.168.1.53 (Obtained via DHCP)
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    IPV4 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

I have confirmed that both machines are exempting Capture and Console Software from the firewall.

Also, the patch does show up correctly in Capture when connected with 1 universe of sACN.. just no fixture activity.

    Hi,

You mention they are on the same network, but do you also have a switch or router between the computers?
