Turn off snapping to objects

    Is there a way to do thi? Cant find it - it is making it impossible to put free form objects and pipes onto plan as they keep trying to attach to things at angles.

    Hey Judge,

    Holding down Esc will release snap and enable you to free form objects.

    Is there a place where all of these types of shortcuts are documented? Most of the ones I have found were simply by accident. The reference manual doesn't have a section outlining the shortcuts at all.

    We are moving towards having all keyboard shortcuts visible in the user interface. At the moment the only ones not visible are Esc, Shift and Ctrl.

    Thank you for noticing that search on the forum is missing. Actually it got deactivated recently after an upgrade but now it is back on again!
