LED Panels Material Mapping Issues

    I'm hoping someone will be able to shed some light as to what I'm doing wrong.

    I'm trying to map an image to some LED panels. The setup is as follows:

    2m x 4m LED screen made up of 500x500mm panels, 128px x 128px.

    The image itself is 512px x 1024px to match the screen size.

    I've selected all the panels, assigned a material to it and given the material a texture image. I've set the texture width and height to 2m x 4m to match the LED screen dimensions.

    I've then mapped to extents but for some reason the image is stretched weirdly in the live view despite looking fine in the plot view.

    Inserted below is an image showing the difference between the live render and the plot render.

    If anyone has any useful insight please let me know, cheers!

    So after some further playing around, it turns out setting the texture width/height to 1m / 1m that fixes it.

    I'm not sure I understand why, as having explicit units in (m) suggests it's the size of the canvas rather than a ratio or multiplier.

    Either way, it's fixed for me - maybe it'll help someone else in the future.
