I love Capture. I found the only thing slowing me down is searching for a fixture in the index, and then trying to keep track of the number of them I am using. Another lighting program I have used allows you to pick a fixture, add it to your inventory, and say how many you have left as you use them. If Capture could do something like that, it would be awesome (at least for me!).
The inventory is attached to a specific theatre template. For example:If I have a proscenium stage that I do a lot iof designs in, that is my template and it would contain all the fixtures this theatre owns, and I just import the sets, etc. But I also do stuff in a black box, so with that template its own lighting kit is attached.
Probably too complicated to do, but it is kind of appealing.
I guess a workaround would be to have the theatre's stock plot hung and focussed in the Template (Theatre1, for instance), and then have a layer with all of their remaining lamps so you could just grab one and move it over to your plot.
Keep up the great work!
