Rotating objects

    I have a very simple living room set I am desiging with two chairs on a 10" riser and a small round table between them.  When I insert the first chair I can rotate it easily 45 degrees from facing directly towards the audience and downstage.  However, when I add the second chair next to it, no number or degrees of rotating will let me place it (mirrored) to the other chair.  What am I missing?  Can anyone replicate this to confirm?

    Have you tried rotating the second chair with the anchor tool on a top wireframe view?

    Did you know that you may hold "shift" while rotating the anchor in order to achieve a steady rotating step and you may set the desired rotating step value on Tools->Options->Rotating snap angle menu.

    I am a complete newbie and finally learned about the controlling handles doing different angles depending on your view.   This works nicely of course.  Thank you for your help.
