    Howdy!

    New user, first post.

After looking through the documentation and watching the videos, I'm curious to know if the feature exists to measure the light intensity at a point (or on a surface) in the design.  My general focus is on production and lighting for television, and it seems the calculations and rendering engine does all the math necessary to generate a result to know how many footcandles or lux are falling on a face or setpiece. Crosshair selection in the live view would be awesome.  I hope I'm overlooking something obvious, but just can't seem to find it.  The presence of this feature would also allow me to calibrate my Capture fixtures to my real-world fixtures, so that I can know that if I deploy these units on my shelf, I will actually get xxx FC on the talent's face on load-in day.

Thanks much for your time & attention!

In focus planses, the blue corresponds to the minimum lux value and the red corresponds to the highest lux value (or higher). It works just like a thermometer where you can define its range.
If you want to hit 600 lux you could enter a range of 500 lux to 700 lux. If you hit the green'ish colour right between yellow and blue, that is then 600 lux.

In this example the darkest blue is 300 lux and the red is 1400+ lux.In this example the darkest blue is 300 lux and the red is 1400+ lux.

May be a cartoon of text that says 'Selected items Properties Hidden Casts shadows Geometry X No No 296,6mm 12,6mm 346mm -0° 0° 0° Position Rotation Rotation Rotation Focus Planes Heatmap mın Heatmap max Focus Plane 300lx 1400x'

Thank you Vasilis!  I *never* would have found this on my own!  what a super helpful tool..  I'm surprised it's not a bit more "front and center" in the features/benefits list.  And to be able to orient the plane in any direction is terriffic.  As a feature request though, I still like the idea of being able to place a "light meter" somewhere in the scene for a light readout.  Much appreciated!
