Most likely the ADJ Sweeper has internal macro's that can be triggered via 1 or more DMX channels. The fixture library doesn't have those macro's so can only respond to specific DMX commands. It's a little different for each fixture and a little different when using an external console or lighting control software via Artnet, sACN etc. For a typical spot fixture within Capture you can only do a few things, but from external console or external console software you can rotate Gobo's, color wheels etc., but for example if the fixture has a color changing macro you can send the command, but the Capture fixture won't respond. One option, if the built in macro isn't too complicated you can build an external macro or cue stack that would replicate the internal fixture macro, just for visualization purposes. If I'm programming using an internal fixture macro I usually just hook up 1 of the fixture types live so even though I can't visualize it, I can make sure the cue is triggering the right macro on the fixture.
