    Hi Capture Team,

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a feature that allows Capture users to tweak how the light beams appear in the Live rendering.

It would be great to be able to tweak things like beam angle, diffusion.... and maybe a few more.

I'll make a practical example to illustrate the issue.

I occasionally use halogen Showtec Sunstrips (active mkII) in my designs, I have used them for more than 10 years, and I know exactly how they look in real life.

However, anytime I use them in my previsualisations, the beam is always way too narrow, harsh and punchy, and in some occasions I have had trouble to communicate to the director and producer that these lights could be the right look for the production, given that I wasn't able to represent the intended look accurately (or close to accurately).

In this particular case (sunstrips), if I add a diffusion (let's say Rosco 119 for example), just for the purpose of trying to match to look to achieve a more accurate previsualisation, the beam is not affected at all.

This applies to several other features, the Sunstrips is just the simplest example I can provide.

It would be great to have an "advanced" feature where we could manually tweak the lights to adjust their output & look to make them appear the way they do in real life.

Thank you for sharing with us your thoughts and ideas for this new feature. As you already know from the emails we exchanged through the support department, we have added your suggestion to our list of ideas for future implementations.
