I'm pretty new to Capture and am currently trying to setup a visualisers alongside eachother to make some comparisons between them. The first issue I've run into is that I cannot get what feels like an accurate blackout. The whole stage is washed in a dull ambient light. How do I get around this and get more accurate lighting?

I'm using the ETC Mind The Gap showfile.

Would be nice to be able to control the ambient light using a console. It would be like switching the workers on or off.

    Hello!

    Working directly in Capture:

Project > Design > Views > the view you want to set [Camera] Ambient Lighting

If you have a patched camera on a console, go to the Ambient Lighting property and adjust it. Save a palette with this setup.

    Take a look at https://www.capture.se/Ma...K/2022/Appendix.html

I've run into an issue where I cannot get an accurate blackout because the stage is too bright. How do I solve this and get more accurate lighting?

There could be many reasons why you are not getting the desired result. You may send your project file to support@ccapture.se along with a detailed description of your issue/goal in order to receive personal help on the matter.
