Hello,
Would it be possible to filter by "fixture location" or "fixture groups". Explanation bellow:
Usually I separate my fixture types with my layers like this : "Conventionnals", "Spot", "Wash 1", Wash 2", "Beam", "LED", "Strobes", "Conv FX", "Atmo+FX". This way I can display all of those with different colors when I plot.
Using the venues universes, I can't always have separate universes for what I want to isolate (eg: ground package).
Doing so I get stuck when I want to plot the top view of my ground package/my LX package only.
For now what I do is puting my isolated fixtures on different universes (eg:1 for the LX and 101 for the ground) and the objects on different layers. Then I filter those and render my plots. And when I'm on site, I tell the lighting team that 1 and 101 are the same universe but I find it a bit far-fetched..
Selecting the ground fixtures and objetcs with a simple click, hold, slide, release, name "Floor" as Location (or make a fixture group called so) and filtering by location (or group) could be much easier I think.
Maybe, there is another way of doing it.
If so, could somebody help me out with this ?
Have a good day,
Hugo
