    Hi there !

when importing dwg plots into Capture, I often face a problem : once the sideview is correctly positioned in X, Y and Z axis, the indications on it are sometimes inverted. This is when the plot has been designed to be read from left position.

    - Is there a way to flip from right to left orthographic section ? or to customise views so that CTRL+3 would lead to left orthographic section ?

    - If not, how can I precisely position the view on orthographic section ? I thougt I could record it into camera 1 but it proves hard to position it with the view navigator and the mouse so that it is precisely set on all axes.

    All the best,

    P.

We are aware of the situation you are in but I am afraid it is not possible to have a 2D left/back/bottom view. Only right/front/top 2D views are supported with Capture 2023. This is already on our feature request list for a future product version.

If you position the camera to what would be a 'left' view using the properties of the camera, so rotation (0,-90,0) you will get a gridded left view. You can record this as a custom view with ctrl+shift+5 to ctl+shift+9. You can't override the default first three viewpoints, but you can make it recallable.
