Hello, I don't know if the topic is understandable...
Just wondering when it will be possible to use virtual reality glasses to view the project.

Virtual reality is developing very quickly and I think that adding such a function could revolutionize the work on many projects.

For starters, there could be a function of only VR live preview
and then as the next step, work in a VR environment in the projection where we work :)

Now seriously, what do you think about it?
    Some preparations for VR Function?

I agree with this idea the Live Window to start with for viewing only.   In the long term, it would be nice to all for editing in VR as well - including any window (3D wire frame; 3D plot; or even the 2D windows for Design, Fixtures, Universes; Media, Snapshots, Library).  That way you don't have to jump out of VR to make changes.

With Meta (Quest 2, 3, etc.) it is possible to connect to the computer with 5G wifi or a high speed cable and view Google Earth or other apps/games in immersive 3D.  The connection is called Quest Link.  Your product would be awesome for this.   Imagine setting your starting point with a 3D Camera in Capture, and then flying around in your Capture design with the Meta Quest hand controllers.   If you set up the controller like they did for VR Google Earth, it would be very easy to jump out to a top-down view and fly back in, or rotate the view around.  You could even allow for saved locations like they do, the ability to take photos, and maybe a zoom-in feature like “Street View” where you can select a object and temporarily zoom in on it (although that is not necessary).   Just the ability to fly through a capture design in immersive 3D would be amazing.

If you are concerned about processing power, perhaps you could offer VR in lower resolution with one video card and full resolution with two video cards (one for each lens)?  Or maybe you could offer a cloud based service, where we can upload our design to capture servers running on high powered GPUs in the Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google cloud.  I’m not exactly how that would work, but it might be an option.

For jumping to different 3D views, 2D windows, or tool menus, the Quest Link for Meta Quest already has controls to let you view virtual screens and switch between them.  You might design the capture VR solution so that you can select the world you are in as one of the 3D Views, and all of the 2D windows/menus are available as pop-ups (or pop-outs) when you click on the built in Quest Link menu or another object in the 3D world.  When you are in a 3D world your hand controller can become a laser pointer with different buttons to perform actions on what you are pointing to.
