Capture Argo 21 will be a free update for all our users. The highlights are:
CITP/MSEX improvements - version 21 will support CITP/MSEX 1.2 and fragmented video streaming, which makes enables streaming of higher resolution video as well as advanced network traffic shaping.
CITP/CAEX show synchronization - version 21 will support a new show synchronization mechanism that will be part of Capture's private CITP extensions, CAEX. CAEX show synchronization allows for a very detailed level of patch and fixture information exchange over CITP.
More fixture simulation - version 21 adds several previously unsimulated prism types, support for fixtures with multiple movement axis such as for instance the High End Shapeshifter and other other previously unsimulated features such as continuous pan/tilt rotation and motion times.
Improved visualization - version 21 makes use of IES photometric data (when available) to properly visualize the luminous characteristics of the entire beam, bringing out the true character of different fixture types. The visualization of laser projectors has also been greatly improved, producing a much more crisp and accurate result.
